1. About Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi

Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will take visitors on a 13.8-billion-year journey through the story of our universe and our planet, offering a view into the origins and complexity of life as we know it. 1.1. Guest Wi-Fi Terms & Conditions

This Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy (together the Terms and Conditions) constitute the legal agreement between you (“You” or “Your”) and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi (“We”, “Us” or “Our”) relating to the provision by Us to You of a wireless Internet access service (the Service) to be used by You at any venue where the Service is available. Please read this Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy carefully. If You do not accept the Terms and Conditions We will not permit access to the Service, and the joining process will immediately terminate. By joining and using the Service You agree to be legally bound by the hereby Terms and Conditions. Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is the Data Controller of your personal data. Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is a registered company of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

 

2. Agreed Terms

2.1. Acknowledgements and acceptance

  1. You acknowledge that the Terms and Conditions (as may be amended from time to time) apply to the use of the Service (including any future updates to it) by You.
  2. You acknowledge and accept that We may change the Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes (if any) will be communicated to You through a link on the log-in page for the Service or any means available us. You will be required to read and accept any such changes to continue using the Service.
  3. You must have obtained the permission of the owner of any computer, tablet, mobile telephone, smart phone or other electronic device (Device) which You use to access the Service (and which is not owned by You) to use the Service. By accepting the Terms and Conditions You accept responsibility for the use of the Service on any Device whether or not you own it. You accept that You may be charged by Your service provider for Internet access through the Device.
  4. You acknowledge and understand that Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure and that any information which You send by using the Service may be read or intercepted by another party even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission is encrypted.
  5. You acknowledge that the Internet is separate from the Service and that websites accessed by You via the Service are not under our control and that We are not responsible for and do not endorse their content or privacy policies (if any). You undertake that You will use Your own judgement regarding any interaction with any such website including the purchase of any products or services accessible through them.
  6. You acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights in the Service (and its underlying technology) belong to Us (or Our licensors) and that You have no rights in or to the Service other than the non-exclusive and non-transferrable right to use it in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
  7. If we fail to remind you to carry out any of your obligations under this agreement, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, this will not be interpreted to mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to keep to those obligations. If we do decide not to enforce our rights, we will only do so in writing.

2.2. Provision of the Service

In consideration of You accepting the Terms and Conditions, We agree to provide the Service to You until such time as We cease provision of the Service to You. You may stop using and We may stop providing the Service at any time.

As long as you agree to keep to the terms of this agreement, we grant you a non-transferrable, non-exclusive license to:

  • Use the services under the terms of this agreement and the accompanying Privacy Policy.

2.3. Acceptable use

You agree that You will use the Service in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and that You will not (and will procure that any person using Your Device does not) use the Service for any commercial, unlawful, immoral or malicious purpose, nor will You (nor any person using Your Device) in the course of using the Service:

  • introduce any code, virus or data which is harmful to the Service or any operating system;
  • transmit, store, publish or upload any electronic material which is likely to cause damage or limit the functionality of any telecommunications equipment or any computer software or hardware;
  • infringe any intellectual property right belonging to Us or any other party;
  • send, receive, publish, distribute, transmit, upload or download any material which is offensive, abusive, defamatory, indecent, obscene, unlawful or otherwise objectionable;
  • invade the privacy of or cause annoyance or anxiety to or send any unsolicited correspondence to any other person.

2.4. Limitations and exclusions

  • The Service is provided to You on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis and therefore all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Terms and Conditions.
  • Save as provided in clause 4(iv), We shall not be liable to You for any losses (whether direct, indirect or consequential) caused by any failures, errors, delays or interruptions of, in or to the Service.
  • Save as provided in clause 4(iv), We shall have no liability to You if any third party gains access to Your connection to the Service or Your Device or destroys and/or damages any data or information held by You or information about You which is held by Us.
  • Nothing in the Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude Our liability for (a) death or personal injury resulting from Our negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

2.5. General

The Terms and Conditions and its accompanying Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between You and Us as to the provision of the Service and they (and any dispute or claims arising from them) are irrespective of the location from which the Service is accessed, governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Abu Dhabi, UAE. You and we both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

2.6. Data protection rights

We acknowledge individuals have the right to access the personal information that we maintain about them. You also have the following data protection rights:

  • The right to receive information about the data processing and a copy of the processed data,
  • The right to demand the rectification of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data,
  • The right to demand the erasure of personal data and, in case the personal data have been made public, the information towards other controllers about the request of erasure,
  • The right to demand the restriction of the data processing (right to restriction of processing),
  • The right to receive the personal data concerning the data subject in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to request the transmittance of these data to another controller,
  • The right to object the data processing in order to stop it,
  • The right to withdraw a given consent at any time to stop a data processing that is based on your consent. The withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before the withdrawal,
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider the data processing to be an infringement of the GDPR.

If you provide us with sufficient information to identify you and verify your identity, we will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days.

 

3. Membership

  • Discounts apply to regular-priced items only.
  • Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, offers, or discounts.
  • The discount is non-transferable and valid only for the registered member.
  • Certain brands in the Gift Shop (including LEGO) are not eligible for any discount.

4. Kids membership

4.1. Eligibility

  • Membership is available to individuals under 18 years of age
  • Valid proof of age may be requested
  • Registration may require parent or legal guardian details

4.2. Validity

  • Membership valid for 12 months from activation and can be renewed
  • Valid during regular museum opening hours

4.3. Access & Use

  • Provides unlimited complimentary entry to museum galleries
  • Valid digital or physical membership card must be presented upon entry
  • Membership is non-transferable

4.4. Supervision

  • Children must comply with museum visitor policies
  • Visitors below a specified age may require adult supervision

4.5. Membership Card

  • Issued for personal use only
  • Lost/damaged cards subject to replacement procedures
  • Misuse may result in suspension or cancellation

4.6. Exclusions

Membership does not include (unless separately specified):

  • Ticketed special exhibitions
  • Paid workshops or events
  • Theatre experiences
  • Retail / F&B discounts

4.7. Amendments

  • NHMAD reserves the right to update membership benefits and terms

4.8. Privacy

  • Personal information handled per NHMAD privacy policy
  • Membership-related communications may be issued

6. Member September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi’s participation in Members September 2026, as part of the aligned Saadiyat Cultural District (SCD) initiative across Louvre Abu Dhabi (LAD), Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi (NHMAD), and Zayed National Museum (ZNM).

6.1. Eligible Membership Categories

Members September benefits apply to active members within membership categories available across the three participating SCD museums:
  • Individual Membership
  • Teacher Membership
  • Student Membership

Members must hold a valid and active membership at the time the relevant member benefit is redeemed.

NHMAD Young Explorers Membership is excluded from the Members September member benefits. Young Explorers is a complimentary Under-18 membership specific to NHMAD and is not a membership category available across all three participating SCD museums.

6.2. SCD-Wide Members September Benefits

The following benefits form part of the aligned Members September offering across LAD, NHMAD and ZNM.

30% Membership Sign-Up Discount

  • 30% discount on eligible membership sign-ups throughout September 2026 across the participating SCD museums.
  • The discount can be claimed by entering promo code MSEP30 on the checkout page across all sales channels, including POS, website and call center.
  • There is no cap on the number of times the promo code can be used during the campaign period.
  • The promo code will be active only from 1 September to 30 September 2026.
  • Memberships purchased using promo code MESEP30 must be purchased and activated within September 2026. The promo code cannot be applied to purchases or activations outside the campaign period.
  • The promotion is available to any individual wishing to sign up for an eligible membership category during the campaign period. An existing SCD museum membership is not required.
  • Applicable membership categories are subject to the paid membership products available at each participating museum.
  • At NHMAD, the promotion applies to eligible paid Individual, Teacher and Student Memberships.
  • There is no daily entry cap for eligible members under the agreed SCD Members September approach.
  • NHMAD Young Explorers Membership is excluded, as this membership is already complimentary.

    Cross-Museum General Admission

    • Active eligible members of LAD, NHMAD and ZNM will receive complimentary General Admission access to the participating SCD museums throughout September 2026.
      • Eligible: Active Individual, Teacher and Student members of LAD, NHMAD and ZNM.
      • Not eligible: NHMAD Young Explorers members.
    • Eligible members will receive a 30% discount on General Admission tickets for up to three (3) accompanying guests per member visit.
    • The eligible member receives complimentary General Admission; therefore, the 30% discount applies to up to three accompanying guest tickets per visit.
    • The member must be present during the visit and present a valid membership card or other approved proof of active membership for verification.
    • Complimentary member access and the 30% accompanying guest discount are valid from 1–30 September 2026.
    • The 30% accompanying guest discount may be redeemed onsite during the visit through the POS only.

      Complimentary Guided Tours

    • Active eligible members of LAD, NHMAD and ZNM will receive complimentary guided tours during dedicated weekday and weekend time slots throughout September 2026.
      • Weekdays: Daily at 3:00 PM, capacity 25 participants per tour.
      • Weekends: 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, capacity 25 participants per tour.
      • Meeting Point: Visitor Services Desk.
      • Registration: Walk-in; no advance registration required.

      Member Discounts When Visiting NHMAD

      Eligible members of the participating SCD museums visiting NHMAD will receive:

      10% Discount on Immersive Theatre Access

    • Active eligible members of LAD, NHMAD and ZNM will receive a 10% discount on Immersive Theatre tickets for the member plus up to three (3) accompanying guests per member visit.
      • Eligible: Active Individual, Teacher and Student members of LAD, NHMAD and ZNM.
      • Not eligible: NHMAD Young Explorers members.
    • As Immersive Theatre access requires a separate paid ticket, the eligible member is also entitled to the 10% discount on their own Immersive Theatre ticket.
    • A maximum of four (4) discounted Immersive Theatre tickets may be purchased per member visit: one for the eligible member and up to three for accompanying guests.
    • A new Immersive Theatre discount product will be created.
    • The member must be present and their valid membership must be presented or verified at the time of purchase.
    • The 10% discount is applicable only to Immersive Theatre tickets purchased and used within 1–30 September 2026.
    • The discount may be redeemed onsite during the visit through the POS only.

      15% F&B and Retail Discount

    • 15% discount on F&B and Retail at NHMAD.
      • Eligible: Active Individual, Teacher and Student members of LAD, NHMAD and ZNM.

      6.3. NHMAD Members’ Day | 13 September 2026

       
      NHMAD will organize a dedicated Members’ Day on Sunday, 20 September 2026, exclusively for active NHMAD members.

      Eligibility: Members’ Day activities, including the Members’ Day Breakfast, Curatorial-Led Museum Tour and complimentary guided tours, are available to eligible active NHMAD members only. Members of LAD and ZNM visiting NHMAD through the SCD cross-museum access benefit are not eligible for NHMAD Members’ Day activities.

      Young Explorers members are excluded from Members’ Day activities.

      All Members’ Day activities and experiences are subject to capacity, registration requirements and operational availability. 

      Curatorial-Led Museum Tour

    • Two exclusive sessions will be led by a member of NHMAD’s Curatorial Team.
    • Sessions will take place at 11:00 AM for members attending the Members’ Day Breakfast.
    • The experience will provide members with curatorial insights through a dedicated museum tour.
    • Capacity and registration arrangements will be confirmed based on operational requirements.

      Members’ Day Complimentary Guided Tours

    • Six exclusive guided tours will be led by NHMAD’s Visitor Services Team.
    • Sessions will take place at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
    • Capacity is limited to 25 participants per session.
    • Participation is subject to availability and applicable registration requirements.

      Members’ Day Breakfast at Nayzak

    • The Members’ Day Breakfast will take place from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM.
    • A dedicated set breakfast menu will be available for the occasion.
    • Advance booking and RSVP are required.
    • Bookings and RSVPs will close 48 hours in advance to allow sufficient preparation time for Nayzak.
    • Final menu and commercial arrangements will be coordinated with the F&B team.

      6.3. General Terms & Conditions

    • Members September benefits are valid from 1–30 September 2026, unless otherwise specified.
    • Members must hold a valid and active eligible membership at the time of redemption for member-specific benefits.
    • Valid membership identification must be presented or verified where required.
    • Benefits and discounts are subject to availability and applicable museum operational requirements.
    • Members’ Day activities requiring advance registration are subject to available capacity.
    • Discounts and benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • Applicable discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
    • NHMAD reserves the right to verify membership eligibility before applying any benefit or discount.
    • Promo code MSEP30 is valid only for eligible membership purchases and activations made within 1–30 September 2026.
    • The 30% General Admission guest discount applies to a maximum of three (3) accompanying guests per eligible SCD member visit and is valid only during 1–30 September 2026.
    • The 10% Immersive Theatre discount applies to the eligible member plus a maximum of three (3) accompanying guests per member visit and is valid only for tickets purchased and used within 1–30 September 2026.
    • Additional operational conditions may apply following confirmation by the relevant NHMAD teams.
